ABOUT CHAI
Chai for Charity is a volunteer-led nonprofit whose mission is to inspire people to give in creative ways. We source nonprofit needs of money, goods, time and talent and then match those needs to donor gifts at events where we share chai.
We believe that giving is social.
We believe that friends give where their friends give.
We believe in creating a giving model that is as inclusive as possible of folks of varied socioeconomic backgrounds and generations so that we can all give in ways that honor where we are in life.
ABOUT OUR TEAM
We are a dynamic group of classic do-gooders trying to engage more people in giving by lowering the barrier to entry.
We care: about each other, about the work, about our partners and guests, and about all the causes that promise to make our world better.
We are creative, playful, and try to make work fun *and* we get the work done, well and with confidence; we lift each other up, and hold each other accountable.
We meet SO many cool people: hosts, guests, and scrappy nonprofit teams who are hustling to make a difference in their corner of the world.
